My research is focused on glacier ice and the movement of glacial meltwater on top, through, and beneath glaciers and ice sheets, and the impacts that this water has on ice flow. I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Antarctic glaciology at the Norwegian Polar Institute in Tromsø, Norway. I have conducted field-based research in Svalbard, Greenland, northern Norway and in the Barents Sea, ranging from investigations of glacially deposited sediments and landforms left behind by retreating ice sheets of the past, to studies of contemporary glacier hydrology and dynamics using geophysical methods.
